=::= 1st DaY of WoRk =::=

Well.. 1st day of work.. it was fun! Reached HR at 840 am and waiting ard 45 mins before we (there were 5 of us as new staff) were being told to report to who and at where.. It was a mon morning and the person who was supposed to bring us wasn't here and only left with 1 person doing all the stuff and the worst thing is dat not only 5 of us were reporting to work today, there were more than dat, think ard 10 altogether.. but the rest of the 5 is not in the same department as me.. Make some new frens there and 4 of them were like me, starting work today.. 2 graduated from SMU, 1 from NUS and 1 from UQ (Uni of Queensland).. Anyway, it was a fun environment down there and we had a great time there.. Basically we did nothing much today.. was given a thick stack of manual of the system dat we r using.. we r supposed to read thru them asap.. sian.. like reading lecture notes like dat.. haha.. in the morning, our supervisor went thru the notes briefly wif us and soon it was time for lunch.. went to haf our lunch wif the whole department and we need to combine 3 tables lor.. haha.. ate at 1 of the coffeeshop whereby last time sh n me working at nbyn there got eat before one.. after lunch, slack abit and we juz read our notes cos our logon stuff is not ready yet.. read until i wanna fell asleep lor.. haha.. soon, it was teabreak, oh... forgot to mention dat we had our teabreak orders in the morning lor.. they said our manager treating so got teabreak orders.. so teabreak time, drink and eat again lor.. haha.. slack there cos all the ppl from our proj team, including the manager from other level came over to our room (our proj team was separated into 2 rooms) to eat and chat.. haha.. only began to read our stuff nearly ard 5pm.. soon, our supervisor showed us the system dat we r using and teach us some stuff.. and it was knock off time le!! So, this was my first day of work, relaxing rite.. haha.. my colleagues said dat the work is periodically busy one.. busy is really busy, but once the things are done, it can be quite slack.. haha.. alright stopping here le.. juz wanna tell u all abt my work only.. going to read up my stuff and chat on phone le.. so tired.. hopefully can slp earlier tonite.. gdnite ppl.. (n_n)

=::= GoTtEn A jOb!!! =::=

Yoz ppl.. i've got a gd news to tell u guys, and dat is i'd gotten a job offer and i accepted it le!! Hehe.. Went down to sign the contract today.. Will be commencing work on this coming mon which is 14th Aug.. So to count down, i only left 3 days of freedom.. dunno whether i shud be happy or sad to start work soon.. got a mixed feelings.. cos quite used to the wu you wu lu de lifestyle dat i'd been living for like 2 mths le and now starting work on mon, i got to wake up early and go for work till evening.. dunno can get used to it anot.. hehe..

Will be working at abn amro in raffles place, its a 5 days wk and working time from 8.45 am to 6.15 pm daily.. as for the remuneration, it was really attractive thus i'm taking on the offer although its juz a contract basis till end of this year.. the job was sort of a project dat the bank is working on for the anti $ laundering check.. from what i heard from the interviewer, my position is named as analyst, which is to face the computer whole day long and do research and data finding on their clients.. basically is to check whether they r involved in $ laundering activities anot.. sounds a bit boring, but i dun really mind dat cos i can juz sit at my desk and do my own stuff without the need to deal wif customers like answer enquiries on phone etc.. hehe.. oso heard from my interviewer dat the ppl they employed for this project r all young ppl like me, so hopefully i can enjoy working there.. think dat's all i can update u guys abt my work stuff.. =)

the past wk, i had been buying working clothes in order to get myself prepared for interviews as well as for working.. already bought 3 working pants, 1 working skirt and 1 shirt as well as 2 3/4 causal pants.. spent alot and going broke le!!! dat's bad, cos i've still got quite a number of stuff dat i need to get before i start work.. hopefully i can manage to get myself a new pair of black heels cos now i only left like 3 or 4 pairs of heels dat i can wear and none of it is black color.. oso, i hope to get a new bag to bring for work.. hehe..

I oso like my newly rebonded hair alot.. hmm.. the smell of the chemical is not there anymore le..ahah.. my shampoo smell managed to cover the chemical smell.. hehe.. smooth and straight except for the fact that the ends of my hair are super duper dry esp the fringe portion!!! so sad lor!! gonna spend $$ again to buy the serum which hopefully can improve the condition of the ends.. my conditioner running out too.. going to get it at the same time.. hmm.. will money juz drop from the sky? haha.. Was at marina sq to watch the fireworks on last sat and the past tue! it was wonderful lor!! all i can say was dat the tue one was much nicer and better than the actual national day one at stadium!! Yup.. i'll be catching the sat firework wif chris, kw they all.. such a long time since i last seen them.. fri, i'll be watching wif my dear.. so br, maybe u can ask nic or cw to go see wif u tmr ba.. think it will be a nice one too.. =)

Yoz.. Went to rebond my hair wif br and sh at the salon where hui recommended in the morning.. It took ard 4 hour plus to complete rebond this long hair of mine and nearly got a shock when my fringe got so dry.. But luckily after trimming, everything was back to normal.. So now i a newly rebonded nice long hair.. hehe.. Saw my polymate, wenjie and his gf and her frens at the salon lor.. well.. the feeling was undescribable after the projects peer apraisals stuff (think only qing & hui wud understand dat feeling.. haha) After rebonding, went down to fukai's hse for dinner.. his mum cooked chilli crabs.. Yummy yummy wor.. =p

Had 2 interviews during last wk and 1 was at abn amro and the other was agency interview.. the abn one actually confirmed me and asked me to start work tmr.. but becos it was thru agency so everything like pay rate, confirmation was referred back to the agent.. They offered me a 6mths contract-temp position lor, which means to say, it is a contract job but the pay was based on temp (hourly rate) and wat's more, the rate was only 6.50/hr lor.. So low.. and i got to travel till commonwealth cos they will be shifting to commonwealth this coming friday.. in the end, after much thoughts, i rejected the offer cos its simply so bo hua to take up the job lor..

The rest of the interviews except for the citibank one, still waiting for reply.. oh yah qing, fukai will be working at 6 batt rd the global mkt soon.. maybe u can tell me who r the nice ppl u noe at there.. hehe.. k lah, think dat's all i wanna update u ppl le.. going to play my game liao lor.. hehe
